After choosing the vacuum pump model suitable for our application and having set the temperature of the liquid ring, we will see where we introduce that water, to take advantage of the maximum condensation effect,  maximizing energy savings in vacuum pumps.

We must take into account that the vacuum pump works at constant flow at different levels of vacuum and the volume of sucked air in is composed of a volume of steam, usually at high temperatures and an air volume.

Therefore, the maximum condensation effect and energy saving is achieved by adding fresh water in the suction before this air reaches the vacuum pump.

How can we get it? We must install an element to generate a spray with a certain opening and pressures, which provides us with the necessary flowrate, depending on the type of vacuum pump.
